Schit 3-5 to Power Expos Offense
|
The Niagara Falls Expos defeated the Tennessee Smokies, 9-2, at Smokies Stadium. Niagara Falls center fielder Puck Schit was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. With the win, the Expos improved to 12-33.
Schit put Niagara Falls up, 9-1, when he hit a grand slam home run off Tyler Maloy in the top of the sixth. His 3rd home run of the season helped the Expos capture the win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Schit told the Niagara Falls Observer.
