Sarcoma Lifts Storm to 6-0 Triumph
|
A 3-RBI performance from Broderick Sarcoma, who is tied for 3rd in the SA in hits with 48, helped the Syracuse Storm beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 6-0. The Storm saw their win-loss record go to 23-15. At the same time, the Seahawks fell to 19-19.
Sarcoma had a key at-bat for Syracuse early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Syracuse an early 3-0 lead.
In postgame comments to the Syracuse Herald, Sarcoma said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
