Tula Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Niagara Falls
|
Chicago rode a decent outing from starter Javier Ariza to victory over the Niagara Falls Expos at Waterfall Park. The final score was 6-2. Ariza, the winner, moves to 6-0. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up no walks. The win puts the Tula at 11-22, while the Expos drop to 10-23.
The game hit a turning point in the top of the third inning, when the Tula were trailing 1-0. Ryder Ringor delivered a two-out 2-run single for Chicago, catapulting his team into the lead.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Ariza told a Chicago News reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
