Cleveland starter Zhao-ji Qiu pitched effectively against the Greenville 84s at 84s Field. The left-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. Martín García got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. Cleveland needed the clutch hitting of Shimei Miura to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Browns on top, 4-3. For the game, Miura had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
