SYRACUSE STORM AT NIAGARA FALLS EXPOS

Waterfall Park was the site of a competitive game between the Niagara Falls Expos and Syracuse Storm.

The Syracuse Storm got a strong performance from pitcher Joe Holland, who stymied the Niagara Falls offense en route to a 3-2 win at Waterfall Park. At 9-5, the Storm have played well so far.

Syracuse used the bat of Pat Kramer to get the win. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Storm ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"It was our day today," Kramer told the Syracuse Herald. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
