Storm Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
It was a good time at Storm Park, where fans came to watch the Put-In-Bay BC and Syracuse Storm get after it.
The Syracuse Storm picked up a win at Storm Park, knocking off the Put-In-Bay BC, 5-2. Starting pitcher Donnie Rawling was an essential part of his team's success. Rawling, now 2-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run.
In the bottom of the third, Syracuse right fielder Dan Lewis had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Lewis stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-1, Syracuse. For the game, he was 3-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Lewis.
The BC fall to 5-7 and continue their lackluster start to the 2036 season.
