Dragonblood Roll to 8-1 Win Over Expos
The Yellowknife Dragonblood topped the Niagara Falls Expos, 8-1, with third baseman Jack Cobb playing a big role. Cobb was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Dragonblood in the win. Tetsuzan Miyata got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Expos to 1 earned run on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Santtu Öunap was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

With Yellowknife leading 4-1 in the bottom of the eighth, Cobb hit a grand slam home run off Niagara Falls hurler Mike Hess. It was the 1st home run of the season for Cobb and put his team ahead, 8-1.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Cobb told the Yellowknife Daily.

The loss lowers the Niagara Falls record to 1-1.
