Columbia and Phoenix duked it out at Columbia Stadium and the River Rats came out victorious.
The Columbia River Rats topped the Phoenix Hotspur U-21, 5-2, in M3L Single A action at Columbia Stadium. The player of the game was Columbia pitcher and Kawambwa, Zambia native Said Akimi. Mario Sánchez earned his 30th save in 31 chances.
