The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles downed the Casper Ghosts, 11-2, at The Graveyard. Rubén Vásquez led the way, going 3-for-4 for Mercer Island. Mercer Island starter Raimo Kangas was credited with the win after throwing 96 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 9-5.

Mercer Island took a 5-2 lead on Vásquez's 23rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Ipe de Deugd in the top of the eighth, propelled Mercer Island to the win.

"Feels good to get the job done," Vásquez said after the game.
