The San Bernardino Grasshoppers knocked off the Minnesota Loons, 8-5, at Loony Bin. Arthur Coonse, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason San Bernardino won. The shortstop was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. John Núñes was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. Júlio Antunez earned the save for San Bernardino, his 16th.
