Sonics Lose, 7-2, at Loony Bin
The Minnesota Loons picked up a win at Loony Bin, knocking off the Atlantic City Sonics, 7-2. Starting pitcher David Maxwell, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Steve Monroe notched his 1st save in 2 chances. At 32-35, the Loons are currently 5th in the Premier AA.

Isagani Gorre put Minnesota in front, 5-1, when he took Abakada Mana downtown. His 3-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 4th home run of the season.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gorre.
