The Casper Ghosts eked out a 5-4 win versus the Tacoma Fur Traders at Ballpark of Tacoma. Nobody did more than pitcher Omar Morales, who captured player of the game honors. Morales got the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Morales allowed no earned runs. The Ghosts saw their record improve to 13-30.

Casper used the bat of Jesús Encarnación to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Ghosts ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Encarnación.
