The Brinkley Belugas defeated the Pawnee ParksNRec, 11-4, in USPL Triple A action at Whips Ballpark, with Brinkley first baseman Jim MacRach named player of the game. The winner was Brinkley reliever Gary Wilson, now 1-1. The loser was Walt Crouch. Brinkley is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Brinkley used the clutch hitting of Noah Bushby to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Belugas the lead, 5-3. For the game, Bushby had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Bushby told the Brinkley News.
