It was a fun time at Ballpark of Port Royal, where the Bakersfield Nobles and Port Royal Disaster tangled.

The Port Royal Disaster topped the Bakersfield Nobles, 3-2, in USPL Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal. The player of the game was Port Royal pitcher Chet Saks. Saks got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Saks allowed 1 earned run.

José Rodríguez, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a slider from Alberto López for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put Port Royal in front, 3-1.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Rodríguez.

The Disaster bumped their record to 51-42 with this latest triumph.
