Fans who came to Ballpark of Port Royal watched the Port Royal Disaster and the Calgary Lynx fight to the finish.

The Port Royal Disaster defeated the Calgary Lynx, 3-2, in USPL Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal, with Port Royal pitcher Jerry Kumpf named player of the game. The 5th-place Disaster now have a 4-game winning streak.

Aurelio Jiménez made an early impact for Port Royal when he stroked his 42nd hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Disaster on top, 3-0.

"We were in it," said Calgary manager Thomas Kemp. "We just didn't score enough runs."
