The Port Royal Disaster beat the Brinkley Belugas, 4-3, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Port Royal left fielder Richard Cutshall earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Port Royal bumps their record to 38-37 with the win.
Port Royal catcher Aurelio Jiménez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 29th hit of the season and put the Disaster ahead, 4-3.
Jiménez called the triumph "a good team win."
