Belugas Come Back Late, Nip Golden Cranes

Weston Doyle helped his team muscle past the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 5-4. In the game, the Brinkley center fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Brinkley reliever Ewan Atwood was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Ramón Molina. Brinkley leads the Premier AAA by 2½ games.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Brinkley trailing 4-3, Doyle hit a cutter from Ramón Molina for a 2-run home run, giving the Belugas the walk-off win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Doyle said after the game.
