Nobles Raise Rally Flag, Beat Bloomington, 4-3

Bakersfield Nobles starter Will McLeod was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Bloomington Longnecks, 4-3. Bakersfield reliever Mark Robinson was the winner. His record is now 4-0. Mark Zaugg took the loss. Their 31-19 record puts the Nobles 4th in the Premier AAA.
This game was not decided until John Mayasich came to bat in the top of the ninth. With the bases loaded and one out, the Bakersfield right fielder hit a sacrifice fly. The Nobles took the lead, 4-3.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Bakersfield manager Enrique Castro.
