1-0 Supernovas Win over Men Evens Season Record
|
The Scranton Supernovas did just enough to secure a 1-0 victory over the Florida Men at Nuclear Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Kent Horton, who captured player of the game honors. With the win, the Supernovas improved to 24-24.
Sam Quint drove in one run against the Men. In the bottom of the first inning, he grounded out, driving in 1 run, putting Scranton in front, 1-0.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Scranton manager Micheal Garren.
