Bruno Hits 2 home runs in Supernovas Win
|
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Felipe Bruno, the Scranton Supernovas defeated the Bakersfield Nobles, 4-2. Bruno hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Supernovas. Scranton reliever Lincoln Spooner was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Firpo Marberry took the loss for Bakersfield. Scranton occupies 7th place in the Premier AAA at 17-22.
Bruno had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the fourth for the Supernovas. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and Scranton trailing 1-0, he hit a 3-run home run.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Bruno told the Scranton Citizen.
