Olthof Leads Supernovas to Win
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Gerold Olthof, the Scranton Supernovas defeated the Brinkley Belugas, 11-9. Olthof went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Supernovas. Amando Codes earned his 3rd save in 5 tries. The Supernovas now own a record of 12-18.

In the bottom of the 7th, right fielder Juan Tellado gave Scranton the lead when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Supernovas had been trailing 9-8, but the two-out double off Brinkley pitcher Fernando Padilla changed that -- and Scranton went on to win.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Olthof.
