The Port Royal Disaster did just enough to sneak past the Scranton Supernovas, 6-5, at Nuclear Stadium. Port Royal pitcher José Blanco earned player of the game honors. Port Royal, now 12-12, holds 5th place in the Premier AAA.

Port Royal used the bat of Steve Bock to capture the win. The shortstop jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Disaster ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Blanco said.
