Fernández, Supernovas Get 9-0 Win
|
Scranton Supernovas starter Ron Fernández pitched a strong game against the Plymouth Rocks at Nuclear Stadium, leading the Supernovas to a 9-0 win. The Rocks, now 13-4, continue their sluggish start.
Fernández earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Scranton. The native of Anthony, Texas allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 8. Plymouth hitters did next to nothing against the left-hander.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Fernández.
