Belugas Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
Brinkley got a first-rate effort from pitcher José Pacheco, who frustrated Scranton hitters en route to a 3-1 Belugas triumph at Belugas Ballpark. Scranton, at 3-10, is off to a poor start in 2036.
Jouo Hirschovits made an early impact for Brinkley when he stroked his 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with one out in the bottom of the third, put the Belugas on top, 3-0.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hirschovits.
