Flamingos Topple Bowties with Late Rally
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Ellis Greenham, the Las Vegas Flamingos defeated the Buckhead Bowties, 6-5. Greenham went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Flamingos. Vaugh Chesser recorded his 4th save for Las Vegas. The loss drops Buckhead to 3-6.

Had Sun-jae Kwak not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Kwak hit a 2-run double. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Flamingos.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Kwak told the Las Vegas Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
