Wilder slugs 2 home runs, Reapers Move to 5-3
|
It was a fun time at The Coffin, where the Columbia River Rats and Grim Reapers tangled.
John Wilder helped his team muscle past the Columbia River Rats, 5-2. In the game, the Grim first baseman was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Antony Durney nailed down his 2nd save.
Grim took a 5-2 lead on Wilder's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jake Haynes in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Grim to the win.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Wilder.
The win lifts Grim to a record of 5-3.
