|
Ithaca Fighting Imps starter Maximiano Mealha was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Olympia Ogres, 4-2. Ithaca reliever Jagger Rusconi picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Ramon Wuilink absorbed the loss. The Fighting Imps improved to 43-42.
It could have been a different outcome for Ithaca, had it not been for Graeme Dormer, the 26-year old catcher . Dormer contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Ithaca up, 4-2.
"Maximiano was throwing strikes, locating well," said Ithaca manager Michael Orchard.
