Rails Lose Again, 5-4, to Ogres
|
The Olympia Ogres faced a tough opponent in Richland pitcher Hirohisa Niiya, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Rails Ballpark by a final score of 5-4. Niiya went 6 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The win was Jing-shuan Thum's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jim Perry took the loss for Richland. The 6th-place Rails have lost 7 straight games.
Olympia took a 5-4 lead on Wilson Sabadodíaz's 58th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Sabadodíaz hit in the top of the seventh, left Richland pitcher Jim Perry shaking his head.
