Highlanders Win at San Antonio, 8-2
|
The Asheville Highlanders relied on the hitting of center fielder Yoshihiro Iwasaki to stop the San Antonio BC, 8-2. For the game, Iwasaki went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Asheville reliever Juan Ramírez was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Patrick Ibáñez.
