The Billings Polar Bears topped the Richland Rails, 7-6, with catcher Chaim Werkman playing a big role. Werkman went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Polar Bears in the win. Billings is in 6th place in the Menard's AA with a record of 19-22.

In the bottom of the sixth, with Billings leading 5-4, center fielder Jonathon Newman hit a 2-run double. The hit came off Jim Perry and put the Polar Bears ahead, 7-4.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Werkman told the Billings Citizen.
