The Las Vegas Flamingos got a superb performance from pitcher Pedro Ortíz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat D.C.. The Divided won the game, 6-4. In spite of the loss, Ortíz was named the player of the game. He came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters . Baker Mayfield earned the save for D.C., his 1st of the year. The last-place Divided raised their record to 22-51.

Early in the game, catcher Gustavo González had a 2-run home run for D.C.. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Divided on top, 2-0.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said González.
