Valentín Goes Wild, But Fighting Imps Win
The Ithaca Fighting Imps overcame a good performance by San Antonio right fielder Chad Valentín to knock off San Antonio, 11-8, at San Antonio Field. Valentín was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Kian-tat Ts'ai was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. Earning his 6th save of the year was Jeffery Brock.
