McLambroch Hits 2 home runs in Shredders Win
|
The Hollywood Shredders bested the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-1, at The Cattle Pen. Larry McLambroch was named player of the game. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. After today's action, Hollywood sits at 56-42, while Ft. Worth falls to 56-42.
With Hollywood leading 1-0 in the top of the third, McLambroch hit a curveball from Robbie Betchley for a 2-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 3-0.
"We'll savor this win," McLambroch told the Hollywood Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
