Late Rally by Patriots Secures Win

The Boston Patriots beat the New Orleans Voodoo, 9-6, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston second baseman Edward Sterrenburg earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs. Reliever Leo Ingelbrigtsen picked up the win. His record improves to 4-2. Mark Valle took the loss. Boston is now 46-19, 9˝ games up in the Premier League.
Yu-shu Kang, who is on pace for 75 RBI this season, contributed to the Boston win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Kang told the Boston Citizen.
