Gilberto Juárez left his imprint on the 5-3 New Orleans win against the Buckhead Bowties. Juárez, who is tied for 7th in the PL with a .532 slugging percentage, was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 3 walks. Gilberto Medina got the win, improving to 3-4. New Orleans first baseman Orlando Velásquez contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two down, he hit a fastball into right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 55th hit of the season and put the Voodoo ahead, 5-3.
