Cattlemen Prevail, 4-3, Over Seattle
|
Ft. Worth Cattlemen starter Zalontae Hillary was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Seattle Aviators, 4-3. Ft. Worth reliever Allen Werner picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Ren-qing Weng was saddled with the loss. Burm Snart earned the save for Ft. Worth, his 1st of the year.
Ft. Worth used the timely hitting of Tsing Guao to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cattlemen ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Seattle manager Mau Delgado, "let me know."
The second-place Cattlemen now have a win-loss record of 25-18.
