Humpbacks Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Alloway
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old third baseman Roberts Hamhock helped the Alaskan Humpbacks beat the Alloway Halberds, 6-1. Brandon Franklin got the win, improving to 7-4. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 2 and walking 2. The save went to Hervé Favier, his 1st this season.
It could have been a different outcome for Alaskan, had it not been for Edgar Baeza, the top prospect . Baeza contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Alaskan up, 2-0.
Baeza told a Alaskan Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
Alaskan has now won 3 in a row.
