Bronze Sox Come Back Late to Clip Racers

The Texas Bronze Sox faced a tough opponent in Indianapolis pitcher Ryunosuke Kurota, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Bronze Sox Park by a final score of 5-4. Kurota went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Texas reliever Hercules Mata'afa got the win, raising his record to 5-0. Tomás Huesca was tagged with the loss. Texas has an impressive 64-28 record.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Texas trailing 4-2, Michael Witt hit a fastball from Tomás Huesca to right-center for a bases-clearing double. Just like that, the Bronze Sox had a walk-off win.
