Lake Monsters Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
The Vermont Lake Monsters grabbed a 3-2 win over the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Vermont catcher Tullu Amaad went 2-3 with 2 home runs to earn player of the game honors. Getting the save was Zhong-yi Huang, his 6th. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Lake Monsters.

Vermont took a 3-2 lead on Amaad's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Shihab bin Salim in the top of the seventh, propelled Vermont to the win.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Justin Saginov.
