It was a fun time at Fog Park, where the Augusta Timber Hawks and Sunset District Fog tangled.
Sunset District Fog starter Wally Copeland was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Augusta Timber Hawks, 4-2. Copeland, the winner, moves to 8-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks.
Silvian Burger, the Sunset District third baseman, contributed a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 3-1, Fog. For the game, Burger was 2-2 with a double and 2 walks.
"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Copeland.
The 6th-place Fog have won 4 consecutive games.
