Racers Roll to 8-0 Win Over Lake Monsters
|
Monster Field was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Vermont Lake Monsters and Indianapolis Racers.
Indianapolis Racers starter Anthony Hood kept the Vermont Lake Monsters hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 8-0 win. Hood went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-1.
The Racers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Hood said.
With the win, the Racers have a record of 33-32.
