Texas Bronze Sox starter Eugenio Piñeiro was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Vermont Lake Monsters, 10-3. Texas goes to 45-18. The win puts them 8 games up in their division.

With a runner on 2nd and two out in the bottom of the third inning, center fielder Donald Brown delivered big for the Bronze Sox. Texas was trailing 2-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Texas manager Juan López.
