Bronze Sox Need Extra Frames to Get Past Fog
Tony Torres was superb against Sunset District. The left-hander, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in strikeouts with 53, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 6-4 Bronze Sox victory. Miguel Cervantes nailed down his 13th save. The Bronze Sox, at 39-16, have now won 19 straight.

In his 109-pitch effort, Torres allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings. He walked 4 and struck out 10.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Torres.
