Racers Fall to .500 After Loss to Tritons

Jersey City and Indianapolis duked it out at Jersey City Grounds and the Tritons came out victorious.
Jersey City Tritons starter Ángel Silva was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Indianapolis Racers, 3-1. Kingston Liniak recorded his 13th save for Jersey City.
Carlos Rúbio tagged a home run off Raúl Valdéz in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Tritons on top, 2-1. In all, Rúbio had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
Silva called the triumph "a good team win."
