The Las Vegas Flamingos got a superb performance from pitcher Sy-ing Tah. Still, it wasn't enough to beat D.C.. The Divided won the game, 4-2. In spite of the loss, Tah was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 2-hit ball. Roberto Silva got credit for the save for D.C.. It was his 5th of the year. At 14-39, D.C. is in last place in the Premier League.
In the top of the fourth, with D.C. leading 1-0, catcher Gustavo González hit a run-scoring single. The hit came off Sy-ing Tah and put the Divided ahead, 2-0.
"I like to lead by example," said González. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
