Voodoo Lose to Patriots, 2-1
|
Eric Matson could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his New Orleans Voodoo lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Boston Patriots at Dunkin Donuts Park. Boston has now won 5 straight.
Wilbur Davis put Boston in front, 2-1, when he took Eric Matson downtown. His 2-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 8th home run of the season.
"The vibe's good," said Boston manager Tyler Carter. "We've got to keep it going."
