Indianapolis beat Alloway at Speedway Field, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Jorge Velázquez, who earned player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. The win was credited to Sergio Hernández in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Gerald Plomp took the loss. The Racers raised their record to 6-3.

Indianapolis took advantage of an error in the bottom of the ninth inning. The game was tied, 6-6, when Gong Mao hit a walk-off run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Indianapolis in front, 7-6.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Alloway manager Manuel Hernández.
