Tritons Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
The Memphis Redbirds got a sterling performance from pitcher Mark Parker, but the Tritons still prevailed, 3-0. Parker was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Kingston Liniak earned his 4th save in 5 tries. The Tritons, now 8-1, have hit the ground running this season.
Sean Worley helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run double. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Tritons.
"It was a solid team effort," said Worley after the game.
