Miners Squelch Blimps Offense in Shutout Win
Marquette beat Akron on the strength of starter Kenko Nakano's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-0 win. Nakano picked up the win for Marquette, going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. The Miners raised their record to 44-58.
