Farmers Win in Glorious Fashion
Behind a solid performance from third baseman Eibe Schmidt, the Lancaster Farmers defeated the Biloxi Shuckers, 11-8. Schmidt went 1-2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Farmers. Carlos González picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. António Moreno was tagged with the loss. Lancaster is now 33-54.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Lancaster trailing 8-7, Schmidt hit a cutter from António Moreno for a grand slam home run, giving the Farmers the walk-off win.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Schmidt told the Lancaster Citizen.
